I've noticed that slowly more and more professionals are finally
getting it! They realize being the most extraordinary expert, or
specialist in their field isn't enough to bring on new business.
People are more willing to buy your product or service if they
LIKE you.
How can a professional become more likeable on their website?
One way is by marketing with their pictures. Be relaxed,
approachable, "let your hair down" and show your human side.
Some of these ideas may ...

manage to survive. He was a talented man but the man he worked
for did not pay him well. Manku never complained but always got
sad when he received his monthly wages.
He wanted a good house. Good clothes for his ...

As the mother of a teenage clothing fanatic I'm often at my
local mall. It occurred to me that the shopping experience for
my daughter is attractive to her not because she wants to spend
my money, but because the experience of buying itself is so rich
to the senses.
For example, when we enter her favorite stores the first thing
that hits me is the music. If it's her kind of music, we're in
the right place for her. If the signs near the front of the
store have sale prices and notices about ...

The fashion industry has witnessed some of the most incredible trends to have ever existed. Trends are on a constant cycle and can be compared to a Ferris wheel. This analogy describes the fact that every single trend, once the time comes, would repeat itself. The most striking examples of this scenario is the popularity of leggings and the leotard, which first became a part of this industry in the 1960s and 1970s consecutively. Overall, in the past few decades, clothing staples such as ...

Everyone has heard incredible stories of people making big money
on eBay selling stuff from their attic or "junk" they pick up at
garage sales. While these stories make the most skeptical of us
tingle at the thought of easy money, hard work and determination
are the key words for selling on eBay. Sure, there is always the
"fly by the seat of your pants" approach, but if you are serious
about making money on eBay, my wife, Rachel, has learned what
doesn't work on eBay from countless hours of ...

Paying Online ' Pros and Cons
I've been seduced by the convenience of online shopping! I've
bought movies, clothes, stamps, groceries, prescriptions, books
and jewelry online. During the Christmas Holidays, I wait with
peppermint breath for Saint UPS Driver Guy and his bag of
goodies. While others fight mobs of angry shoppers, I browse
through product descriptions at my leisure. I feel relatively
safe providing my credit card information despite the horror
stories of fraud and theft. I only buy ...

US business-to-business e-commerce will hit $2.7 trillion in
2004 and more than 90% of firms interviewed described plans to
buy and sell on the Internet, according to a recent Forrester
Research study.
The study, "e-Marketplaces Boost B2B Trade," reports that B2B
growth will be accelerated by the development of e-Marketplaces
- new models for conducting e-commerce - such as auctions,
exchanges, aggregators and bid systems. By 2004, Forrester
expects these e-Marketplaces to capture 53% of all ...
